Can I extract multiple curves from one graph?

Yes. Plot2CSV automatically counts visible series, labels them Y1, Y2, and more, and exports them as aligned columns. Select each overlay to review or edit it before downloading.

How accurate is extraction?

Accuracy depends on image quality, contrast, and careful axis calibration. For clear publication figures, digitized points typically align closely with the visible curve. Always review points in the editor before exporting.

Can I edit points?

Yes. Drag any point, click to add, select and delete, or edit X/Y values inline in the live table. Undo and redo are available.

Can I extract scatter plots?

Yes. Plot2CSV supports line charts and scatter plots in the MVP. Bar charts, pie charts, histograms, and heatmaps are not supported yet.

Can I use log scales?

Yes. Set X and/or Y to logarithmic during calibration. Changing scale or axis values instantly recalculates coordinates.

Can I download Excel?

Yes. Export to CSV, Excel (.xlsx), JSON, or copy to clipboard. Exports always reflect your latest manual edits.

What image formats are supported?

PNG, JPG, and JPEG up to 20 MB.

Do I need an account?

No. Plot2CSV works in the browser without signing up.

Is Plot2CSV a plot digitizer or graph digitizer?

Yes — Plot2CSV works as a free online plot digitizer and graph digitizer. Upload a graph image, calibrate the axes, and it digitizes every visible curve into numeric data. We just focus on making it the easiest graph-to-data extractor rather than the most complex one.

Can I convert a chart image to a table?

Yes. Plot2CSV converts a chart image into an editable data table: every detected series becomes a column (X, Y1, Y2, …) that you can review, correct, and export to CSV, Excel, or JSON.

Is Plot2CSV an AI graph reader?

Plot2CSV uses deterministic computer vision plus your axis calibration instead of a generative AI guessing values. Every exported number maps to a visible point you can verify and drag — so unlike AI chart readers, results are reproducible and never hallucinated.
